OK, I'm back but I don't know for how long.
If you've got to have a subject, this is one
Have you ever wondered what makes people put other people on their friends' list? I have, but then again, I think about weird things like that. Personally, I think sometimes it's just an accident (at least for people to put me on their list), and of course, I believe that some of us don't even bother with the friends' list, so that's of no relevance at all. Matter of fact, the whole question is, so ignore this paragraph (and the man behind the curtain).
You know, there are so many things in life that we can complain about, and I am reminded by my son's words that we need to take some time to appreciate the good things of life. Some of the things in life that I truly (have) appreciate(d) are: climbing into a warm bed and snuggling up to my wife when I'm really tired, my boys' laughs when we used to play "turn over the turtle", a movie that can surprise me with its ending ("Gothika" isn't bad, but not quite this quality), receiving "Kong", those rare moments of feeling truly capable, my sons' admiration, listening to the pumping units in the distance as I lay in my bed as a teenager, a really good meal and, of course ... "Cleopatra 2525" :)
Sorry, got off the track there. Anyway, I've never been known to stay on the track for long. Some people say I've never been on the tracks. Or that I don't even know what tracks are or where they are. Again, I digress. Well, just for your information, just about done with my "B" project at work. That's the project you're supposed to work on after you finish your "A" project. But then the "A" project gets hung up and so you shift gears. Then, eventually the "B" project catches up and overtakes the "A" project and now you've got to figure out how to integrate the "B" in before the "A" (that the "B" was built upon) is placed into production. Of course for me I have a whole alphabet that I'm juggling so it's a bit more complicated. But at least I have the satisfacion of getting some things done.
Wife's making out the Christmas cards today, she's got some music on. Can't really see her as she's at the table and there are 2 VCR's blocking my view (along with a can of popcorn). Now this may not make much sense to you and you may even question why I put it here. But my wife, when she reads this, will think it's cute, and that's a lot more important to me than any of you other people's opinions. And even if she doesn't think it's cute, I'm sure she be nice and say she does.
Well, I'm really rambling today, so guess I have nothing to talk about. No big arguments going on here to tend to. Not even much philosophy. I could expound on all types of stuff (people know I have plenty of opinions), but nobody's asked any interesting questions lately. So I'll leave you with one. Have you ever had a stalker? I have.
