OK, I'm back but I don't know for how long.
I believe (just so there's no confusion)
Well, let's get this all over with. Not only do many people disagree with about everything I believe, but many feel I'm condescending because I say I'm older and base my opinions on a larger sample of experience. They believe that I am saying that my opinion has more weight than theirs, is right whereas theirs is wrong. That is not what I mean. I am simply trying to give reasons when asked why I have the opinion that I do.
In return, they believe it OK to insult me personally, impugning all kinds of motives to me without any real knowledge of who I am, as well as call my opinions medieval and out-of-date. Thus, just so there is no confusion on anyone else's part, here are some things I believe in.
Obviously, there are hundreds of more. Comment on these if you like, but I won't be drawn into discussion about any of them.
1. I'm against gay marriage, as a matter of fact, I'm against the gay life-style
2. I'm against abortion, at any stage, for any reason other than to save the life of the mother
3. I believe in God and am a born-again Christian and I believe athiests will be going to Hell, which I do believe in
4. I believe that the Moslem religion had continually been a religion dedicated to suppression and death
5. I believe that George W. Bush is one of the best Presidents we've ever had
6. I believe we should have gone to war with Saddam, only I would have done it sooner
7. I believe we should get out the U.N. and let it die the death it should have had years ago
8. I don't care about WMD's, Saddam's actions alone were more than enough
9. I don't believe the deficit will harm our economy at all
10. I believe the rich pay TOO MUCH tax, not too little
11. I believe the welfare system needs serious changes and phase out within 5 years
12. I believe all illegal aliens should be sent back and all people hiring them fined until they stop
13. I believe in prayer in school and in our government
14. I believe the Democrats would sacrifice the welfare of this country to get back in power
15. I believe that Clinton was a sleaze, and that his wife was little better
16. I believe that at 61 years of age I am better able to judge the reality of the world than I was at 25
17. I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion and should never be personally attacked about it
